Integrating Mind, Body, & Spirit:
Yoga is a path that ultimately brings the practitioner to a place of peace, surrender, presence, and well-being.
We realize our connection to all life and all things through practicing yoga. This knowledge brings awareness to how we interact with our environment, dramatically changing how we interact, speak, & feel.
We achieve "self-realization" through the "union" of the Self's physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects, choosing to live in harmony and unity with the energies surrounding us.
Candlelight yoga is best suited for an evening time slot because class participants want to end their day with mindfulness and relaxation. So, the room is filled with illuminating candlelight and soothing music. Then, focusing on connecting to your breath, you’ll make your way through a slow-moving flow preparing your body and mind to unwind from the day’s activities.
Why Go to a Cacao Ceremony?
Cacao Ceremonies can facilitate the potential for one to regain that lost spiritual balance. Other experiences centering around this spiritual healing often rely on hallucinogenic or out-of-body experiences. Still, a Cacao Ceremony is a time of relaxation and self-reflection to provide inner silence, allowing one to explore the mind and come to peace with the self. Through this peace, an individual can achieve mental clarity, which is imperative to an improved daily life, uptakes in creativity, and self-guidance. Cacao has long been acknowledged for its medicinal benefits. However, as recently mentioned, this ceremony is an exercise in mental health, and the health of a person starts with a healthy spirit, as a healthy mind allows for the preservation of the body using the traditional Mayan elements.
